Russian footwear that everyone considers imported: 11 popular brands

Author: Evgeny Bogomolov

Frankly, almost half of the brands surprised us, because we sincerely believed that they were European brands! We even had no questions about quality and design ...

In Russia, more than 250 manufacturers of shoes, but the vast majority of domestic manufacturers have not far gone from Soviet design - they are still focused on the production of rubber boots, galoshes, felt boots and army boots. Nevertheless, there are exceptions, and very interesting. If you do not know in advance, you might think that we are in front of a German or Italian brand.

Ralf Ringer

I myself have long thought that Ralf Ringer is a German or Austrian brand. Agree, the name is quite conformable to the name of some Prussian shoemaker's wizard. It turned out that the brand is Russian, having production in Russia and China. The design, to be honest, is no different with special grace, but it is also characteristic of German shoes. But the quality is on top. My shoes Ralf Ringer demolition is not the third winter, and they cost about 5,000 rubles.

Eber klaus

Another brand that attracts buyers by a foreign name. Although the company’s website honestly says that shoes are made in Russia. As with the Ralf Ringer, the rustic design is offset by high quality and long service shoes. All materials in Eber Klaus are natural, it is especially felt when you put on their winter shoes - it is warm and cozy. The pricing policy is again similar: the cost of a pair starts from 4000-5500 rubles.

Shoes of this brand can be found in many shoe stores. On the company's website, you can find a vague wording about Italian designers and low cost by reducing the "costs" of production. Apparently, Italian designers work in the Togliatti factory "Leader", and the "production costs" are reduced due to the transfer of part of orders to Chinese factories. However, one should pay tribute to the pleasant atmosphere and decent level of service that prevails in the Tervolina salons. Prices for shoes of this brand start at 3,500 rubles.

The name and design of shoes is associated with Germany, but the production is located in St. Petersburg. Judging by the reviews on the Internet, the brand produces really reliable shoes, and the price is not high - from 4,000 rubles.

A company with such names could exist anywhere in the world and produce anything from nuclear reactors to chocolates. In our country, Camelot specializes in the manufacture of clothing and footwear in the medium-low price segment. Brutal shoes for teens, not bad copying the design of foreign brands. Behind the low price is the use of non-natural materials and partial production in Chinese shoe factories. In any case, prices start at 1500 rubles and, judging by the reviews, for a couple of seasons, the shoes serve faithfully.

An impressive production geography corresponds to the universal name of the brand: "in Russia, Turkey, Brazil, Portugal, China, India and other countries," it is written on its website. Thus, it is impossible to understand where shoes are made. The design approach is traditional: you watch fashion shows a year ago, you simplify the design and launch it into production. But the prices do not bite: women's shoes can be bought for 3000 rubles.

Corso como

A beautiful name that refers to the Iberian Peninsula, an excellent website, prices are above average (from 7,000 rubles) - and not a word about who manufactures shoes and where. The manufacturer talks a lot about Italian traditions, designers and world famous brand. However, online you can find information that Corso Como distributes shoe production between Chinese and Russian factories. The design of the shoes is modern and very "Italian".

Francesco donni

Brand name and site content hint that shoes should, if not produced, then at least be modeled in Italy, but the brand is 100% domestic. I want to believe that information about high-quality natural materials is true. The whole range of Francesco Donni presented on varies in the price range from 3,000 to 10,000 rubles.

Paolo conte

After reading information about the company on its official website several times, it is impossible to understand where the shoes are made. But not in Italy, you can be sure of this. The Russian brand is widely represented in our country, in any large city you can easily find stores of this network - buyers love this style of shoes. With discounts, prices start at 3,500 rubles.

Carlo pazolini

When I bought shoes for the first time at the Carlo Pazolini store, I was firmly convinced that I was buying real Italian products - the interior of the store, the actual design of the shoes and its quality reinforced the impression. What was my surprise when I learned that Carlo Pazolini is a Russian brand! Web searches revealed information about production lines in Eastern Europe and China. And the prices of this brand are closer to the Italian - from 5,000 to 20,000 rubles.

Thomas Munz

The company's website and information in the stores directly indicate that the German company, respectively, the design and production of shoes are made in the realm of Frau Merkel. However, Internet users report that in Germany and other European countries no one heard about Thomas Munz. The company's website exists only in the Russian version - strange for a truly German company. Prices do not bite, women's shoes can be bought for 1500 rubles.

More than 60 percent of shoes sold in Russia are made in China. Only 2% of shoes are actually made in Italy, England or Germany.

Can you trust Russian-made shoes? Our answer is yes (if you are satisfied with the design). There are at least three reasons for this:

  1. Russian manufacturers take into account the climatic conditions of our country: not all European footwear is suitable for an eight-month winter or a six-month off-season.
  2. Russian factories are still working in accordance with GOST (and you remember that footwear was inherited in the Soviet Union, it was unkillable) - it only remains to find a Russian brand that does not locate production in China.
  3. Large shoe factories are equipped with European equipment, many workers undergo training and training in Italy, Germany and England - this, of course, affects the quality of products.
